In collaboration with the SIRIC Brio, we apply deep phenotyping of αβ and γδ T cells in old cancer patients. We also perform a comprehensive characterization of the phenotype and functions of γδ T cells in glioblastoma (GBM) patients and try to develop a γδ T cell based therapy to treat these patients. We are also identifying the molecular mechanisms – including tumor antigens recognised by γδ TCRs – involved in tumor cell recognition by γδ T cells.
