IBiSA is a scientific interest group founded in 2007. IBiSA leads a selective national policy of labeling and support for biology, health and agronomy platforms, as well as biological resource centers (CRB). Labeled structures can access substantial funding for investments deemed necessary for their missions. Open to the scientific community, they undertake in return to make their resources and expertise available to external teams to advance research.
IBiSA thus promotes the organization and pooling of resources and measurement means necessary for research in life sciences. The GIS also encourages the creation of steering, consultation and cooperation structures, the running of thematic networks and quality approaches.
